I'm not a product-reviewer-type but I really like this soap. Feels good on the skin, good texture, and I feel clean so it seems to work. I highly recommend it!

the micro beads seem gimicy, I dont really notice a difference in cleaning ability but the soap is okay but nothing special. I like Irish spring though and will probably go back to the regular one.

The Irish Spring Deodorant Soap With Micro Beads, Microclean, 4 oz Bars, (18- 3 Packs) soap has slowly won me over. Unlike previous Irish Spring varieties it hasn't dried out my skin as much. There are a few things you need to be aware of however.
Obviously this is deodorant soap and not anti-bacterial as far as I can tell. If either of those things is an issue for you then you have to look elsewhere.
The micro beads in the soap are not the firm beads that I am used to from a few other soaps I use. These look like spots on the soap and it's not clear if they create any friction for better cleansing. So it's hard to tell if they are little more than coloring.
The cost of this variety is also higher than other types of Irish Spring. Granted this package has a large amount of soap, but it's still not a bargain when you break it down per bar.
The other thing that's somewhat strange is that these bars tend to wear away quickly. It's probably because there are fewer binders in the soap, though I am just guessing. That may also be why it drys out my skin less. Either way, you should expect each bar to last you less time than what you are used to.
If you need a gentle soap, this is definitely better than most Irish Spring but not as smooth as Dove Beauty Bar, White, 4.25-Ounce Bars in 14-Count Packages (Pack of 2) and the like. It's difficult to quantify the effects of the micro-beads but this soap is definitely an improvement.
