Love this book! :) July 28, 2010 Rhiannon Minor (Raleigh, NC USA) I have had a lot of fun with this book. I get tired of wearing my hair the same old way, and didn't really know a lot of braids or styles. Not everything in it worked for my hair type, but it was fun trying. Plus it gives you a sense of how braids and rolls work so that you can try tweaking existing styles or developing your own. Highly recommend.
Outdated July 18, 2010 Tori This book is all about braids. I bought it when I was about 10. Yes, it can be helpful with teaching braids, but if you know how to french braid and do a rope twist, I don't suggest this book. The models reek of the '80/'90's. Some of the looks can be updated by a braid on the side but really, this is more appropriate for 13 & under. There are no "styles", just braids and it is very dated.

Wonderful! February 17, 2010 J. Moore I bought this book so that I could learn to french braid my own hair. It made the process really easy. It provided very specific directions about how to hold your hands and keep them from getting exhausted. It also has tons of other hairstyles that I had never seen before and look forward to trying out.
Braids Plus February 1, 2010 Veronica (San Leandro, CA USA) This book has beautiful full color illustrations for braiding and other up-dos. The written instructions are clear. It comes with 3 scrunchies too which are Okay. It's a beautiful book with hard stock, glossy pages and it lies flat on the counter or table while while you follow the instructions.
