This book is really for teens or pre-teens. The publisher should have make that clear. It seems a little outdated to me.

My 5 1/2 yr old daughter loves this book! She has long hair to her waist and was getting tired of the same ways I would fix her hair. The styles in the book are different and fun with easy to follow instructions! Definitely recommend this book to girls of all ages. We'll be using it for many years.

I fall on the side of reviewers that doesn't find much value on the ideas in the book. I did not feel like I got my money's worth. I'm not looking for anything complicated, but was hoping for more variations.

The binding on the paperback edition of this book is HORRID. Nearly half the pages in the book have fallen out -- and that's with only average use. You may have a different experience, but purchase at your own risk.
